This year, the Chamber and Tourism Whitsundays have decided to join forces for the ultimate end of year celebration for the Whitsundays business community!
The event will be held 6:00pm-8:00pm Thursday 30 November 2023 at the Reef Gateway Hotel, Cannonvale.
Chamber and Tourism Whitsundays see this joint event as a way to bring the entire business community together to celebrate 2023, as well as an opportunity for everyone to participate in making a sizable and significate donation to the Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre’s annual Adopt a Family Christmas appeal.
Instead of having a prize draw at the event, we are seeking donations from members for an online silent auction to commence late October. This auction will be marketed from Townsville to Mackay, providing wonderful opportunity to increase the reach of your business.
The online silent auction will close just prior to our November event, so we will know the total amount raised for the Adopt a Family Christmas appeal. Another great reason to celebrate!
Should you wish to donate to the silent auction, please the following steps:
- Determine what you will donate an item, service, or voucher.
- Create and provide an image of your prize for use in social media and marketing.
- Contact the Tourism Whitsundays team by Friday 20 October on membership@tourismwhitsundays.com.au or drop your auction item off at their office (1/5 Carlo Drive, Cannonvale)
