This event will explore the evolving expectations of apprentices, trainees, and emerging talent entering the workforce. It will examine what young people are looking for in an employer—including workplace culture, career development, flexibility, mentorship, and values alignment—as well as what businesses can do to attract, engage, and retain them. Discussion will also cover how to strengthen the workforce pipeline in the Whitsundays through education, industry partnerships, and meaningful on-the-job training.
