Commencing mid-October 2023, TAFE Queensland will partner with the Whitsunday Coast Chamber of Commerce and Whitsunday Regional Council to deliver a program ideal for small business owners, start-up leaders, and entrepreneurs looking to build their business management skills and knowledge.
Within the program TAFE Queensland’s experienced mentors from the business community will guide you and work with you to develop a business plan specifically tailored to grow your business.
This practical training program empowers participants to develop a focused Business Action Plan, including finance, legal and risk management, marketing, and implementation plans.
Face to face 3-hour sessions will be delivered at two TAFE Queensland campuses in the Whitsunday region on the following dates:

BOWEN
- Wednesday 18 October 2023
- Wednesday 1 November 2023

Optional Chamber Support Program
The Whitsunday Chamber of Commerce is delighted to offer an exclusive Chamber Support Program to provide ongoing support to foster sustainable business growth.
This program will include:
- Four (4) tickets to an Award Ceremony Chamber event to be held upon successful completion of TAFE Queensland training;
- Invitation to participate in exclusive Chamber-hosted quarterly meet ups (face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid) throughout 2024 to help maintain momentum, implementation, and forge greater support;
- Published profile in Chamber communications (website, social media, and regional media announcements); and
- Free 12-month Chamber Business Basics membership for non-members.
The Chamber Support Program is optional, and fees apply ($299 for current Chamber members, and $499 for non-members).
