Thank you for supporting the Whitsunday business community!
The Whitsundays Chamber of Commerce and Industry thanks its current members for their ongoing support in strengthening the vitality of the Whitsundays business community.
The Chamber, as an apolitical and financially autonomous organisation, works to continually improve business conditions in the region.
We advocate for positive change, connect members with each other, host business education and training workshops, increase member visibility and awareness within the community, and provide business resources and support.
Over the last 12 months we have achieved important outcomes:
- Merged with the Proserpine Chamber of Commerce and undertook strategic redevelopment that resulted in a new name, a new Board, new constitution, and new strategic plan.
- Established our Ten Point Advocacy Plan.
- Embarked on our research and advocacy project, Vision for the Whitsundays, that aims to build a comprehensive economic vision by business for business.
- Reinvigorated our business education and events program and launched the Whitsunday Business Conference.
- Improved communication platform and instigated the monthly article series with Mackay and Whitsunday Life newspaper profiling our members and Ask An Expert column.
Joining the Chamber is not just an investment in your business; it’s an investment in the future of the entire Whitsundays community.
