Federal Funding Secured for Our Region
Exciting news for the Whitsundays! The Whitsunday Regional Council has secured $29.8 million under the Federal Government’s Growing Regions Program. Mayor Ry Collins announced that this funding will help deliver two transformative projects:
– Cannonvale Community Hub ($29.7 million) – A central space for essential community services.
– Whitsunday Regional Sports Precinct ($30 million) – New and improved sporting facilities for our growing region.
